GABRIELA NOVAK, N.D., D.Ac.

Gabriela Novak graduated from Charles University, Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1971 as a Medical Doctor. She later specialized in anesthesiology, acupuncture and intensive care. Gabriela graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1989 and established the Oakville Naturopathic Clinic in 1992. Gabriela also earned a post-graduate diploma in acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine at that time. She has continuously been involved in the growth of the naturopathic profession by serving on the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy for the Ministry of Health for 6 years.

 

MELANIE FACCA, B.Sc., N.D.

Melanie Facca is a Naturopathic Doctor who has been in practice since 2002. She has been part of the Oakville Naturopathic Clinic team since 2006. Prior to moving her practice to Oakville, Melanie practiced in a multi-disciplinary clinic at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough, ON. Melanie is one of only 100 Naturopathic Doctors in Ontario who performs Intravenous vitamin and nutrient therapy.

Before becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, Melanie completed her 5 year undergraduate degree in Honors Environmental Chemistry at the University of Waterloo. Melanie is also an instructor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she teaches Biochemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry.

 

AGNIESZKA MATACZ, H.BSc., N.D.

Agnieszka Matacz completed her pre-medical studies at the University of Toronto graduating with an Honours degree in Human Physiology. In 2009 she received her post graduate Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and was awarded the Grassroots Naturopathic Women's Health Award for clinical excellence in the area of Women's health. Agnieszka is a proficient primary health care provider practicing a combination of contemporary and alternative medicines and holds special interest in cancer prevention and natural treatments.

 

GILLIAN FLOWER, B.A., ND

Gillian Flower is a Naturopathic Doctor and a graduate of both the University of Toronto and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Gillian provides whole-person care to patients of all ages using acupuncture, clinical nutrition, herbal medicine and intravenous therapy.

Gillian's work as a Research Associate at CCNM complements her evidence-based clinical practice extremely well. Her current research focuses upon the use of natural therapies in cancer care, and she has presented her work at conferences in Canada and the United States. Gillian is a regular contributor to alive magazine and Integrated Healthcare Practitioners, a Canadian peer-reviewed journal. ANDREW FLEMING, RMT

Andrew graduated Sutherland - Chan Massage Therapy College in 2000 and is currently attending the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Andrew practices osteopathic philosophy and technique - a manual approach to treatment based on viewing the body as an interconnected whole and focused on treating the underlying structural causes of dysfunction.
